“…Strontium titanate (SrTiO 3 ) possessing a perovskite structure is interesting because of its high degree of tenability, high permittivity, and low dielectric loss. ,,− It is actually one of the incipient ferroelectrics, and only permittivity increasing can be found with temperature down to 0 K. Recently, SrTiO 3 has attracted many researchers’ attention owing to a series of outstanding physical properties: (1) two-dimensional electron gas formed at the interfaces between SrTiO 3 and other oxides, (2) superconductivity at lower temperatures, , and (3) ferroelectricity without any intentional doping . Presently, it is thought that the defects (such as V O , cation vacancy, antisite defects, and so on) are intimately related to these phenomena.…”
