“…Computer-assisted cognitive remediation (CACR) techniques have been shown to improve various cognitive domains and social cognition in schizophrenia. 62 , 67) Another study comparing short-term outcomes of CACR in adolescents with psychotic disorders or at high risk of psychosis 68) revealed significant differences between baseline and follow-up in executive function and reasoning abilities, with better performances at follow-up only in the CACR group. Prediction of positive response and personalization of treatment individualization of such techniques is must as these are labour intensive approaches.…”

In Group 1, four patients were inhabitants of large cities, 10 lived in smaller towns, and 11 lived in the countryside.…”

“…The therapeutic effect of these methods is based on a stimulation mechanism that leads to the restructuring of neuronal connections [11][12][13][14] by inducing changes in the bioelectric activity of the brain and activating the glutamate receptors NMDA (an excitatory neurotransmitter), AMPA (an ionotropic transmembrane receptor) and BDNF (brain derived neurotrophic factor, a member of the nerve growth factor family of proteins) [15][16][17][18][19][20][21][22].…”

“…Research by (Iwata et al, 2017) with the research title "Efficacy of cognitive rehabilitation using computer software with individuals living with schizophrenia: A randomized controlled trial in Japan " is an experimental study with randomly. Sixty-five patients with schizophrenia were randomly divided into training groups (n = 33) or non-training groups (n = 32), and compared executive performance with healthy controls (n = 33).…”
