Elektroforesis: Analisis Elektronika Terhadap Biokimia Genetika

Abstract: Electrophoresis is a method of separation that utilizes the electric field generated from electrodes to separate compounds having a charge of cations or anions. Electrophoresis requires separation media in the form of a stationary phase such as Agarose cells mixed with a buffer solution to maintain the acidity of the sample during the separation process. This tool strongly supports the renewal of research, especially in the field of genetic engineering technology. The result will provide a track record of sepa… Show more

“…As an electrolyte medium of electrifying, gel agarose serves as an independent media to maintain the conditions of sample similarities during the separation process. A UV light visualization was run electrophoresis with 50 V electric tension for 1 hour and 20 minutes (Harahap, 2018). Electrophoresis readings were made on a UV-Trans illuminator or gel doc from the sample by comparing the tape from the piece with a known scale called the marker.…”

“…While the DNA purity value above 2.0 indicates that there are still contaminants in the form of RNA. This could be due to not adding ribonuclease (Harahap, 2018). The next step is to mix the isolated DNA template with PCR components, namely GoTaq Green Master Mix reagent, forward primer, reverse primer, Nuclease Free Water and DNA template.…”
