“…Prema konvencionalnoj teoriji pravednog rata, završetak rata određen je, ne etičkim principima, već kapitulacijom, odnosno nemogućnošću da se nastavi rat usled iscrpljenosti resursa jedne strane (military exhaustion). Zaplet pri promišljanju pravednog okončanja rata nastaje sa primedbom koji takvom njegovom razumevanju upućuju revizionisti teorije pravednog rata: time se, tvrde oni, stvara jaz između pitanja ko treba da pobedi i ko zaista pobeđuje (Dill 2015).
