A model of the process which describes the dependence of the period accuracy of profiles with periodically recurring longitudinal corrugations on the ratio of the main diameters, height and cross-sectional dimensions of periodic corrugations is created; expressions for finding the optimum values of the main diameters, corrugations height and their cross-sectional dimensions that ensure minimum deviations of the longitudinal dimensions of profile periods from the nominal ones are obtained. The results of the researches carried out with the use of the method of mathematical planning of experiment are given. Practical recommendations on the use of the obtained results in designing the technology are prepared. As a result of the performed experimental studies of the influence of the main geometrical dimensions of molded corrugationsradii of their tops and bases, as well as height, analytical expressions for determining the optimal values of these parameters have been obtained, allowing to obtain finished profiles with minimum deviations in the lengths of periods, laid down in the design of technology in the calibrations of rolls.
