“…While some studies have looked broadly at participative practices and community communications, use of the Internet for policy discourse, framing of climate issues and communications, and the role of relationships in policy development (Flåm, 2009;Newig and Fritsch, 2009;Nisbet, 2009;Shum, 2009;Tsang et al, 2009;Bryson et al, 2010;Soma, 2010;Soma and Vatn, 2010;Toikka, 2010), we have deliberately focused our investigation on the online discussion channel used to canvas individual opinions and sharing of views (Margetts, 2009;Merry, 2010;Barr, 2011).
