The purpose of this paper is to describe the design of an Information Technology (IT) Strategic Management Model for a university in Cartagena, Colombia, in order to standardize and optimize the management of the institution's processes. A descriptive and qualitative research methodology was followed, implementing three phases: 1) Strategic analysis of the university institution by SWOT analysis as well as the analysis of ITIL and CobiT 5 models. 2) Description of the model designed and proposed to be implemented; and 3) Validation of the model. The implementation of the model will allow the institution to strategically manage IT 1790 Mónica Ospino-Pinedo et al. so that it can be a competitive institution in today's world, which day after day, demands greater use of IT in all the processes that are developed from all the possible instances.

As a reaction to the current situation of local and global environmental deterioration, recent decades have seen the emergence of multiple educational strategies and methodologies within Environmental Education (EE) with the aim of promoting pro-environmental attitudes among young people. One of these strategies is Problem-Based Learning (PBL), and it is necessary to analyze the didactic implications of this methodology in the field of EE in order to maximize its effectiveness. This study evaluates the implementation and didactic implications of an environmental project designed under the PBL methodology. The project was carried out over consecutive years of compulsory secondary education (Grades 9 and 10) in two secondary schools in the province of Granada, Spain. The data collection instruments used included the researcher’s diary, self-assessment and reflection questionnaires for the participating students, and questionnaires and rubrics completed by the audience during the presentation of the final product. The study employed a qualitative interpretative approach, using response categorization and SWOT analyses, the results of which revealed multiple conclusions, highlighting the high level of motivation, work and participation of the students, as well as the didactic benefits of the enriching socialization of the project. Difficulties, such as time management and cooperative group work, lack of practice in the methodology used and challenges related to the use of information and communication technologies (ICT), were also identified. Finally, recommendations are provided for the application of this methodology in other educational contexts.

“…El estudio se ha realizado en el curso 15-16, en el que se matricularon un total de 61 alumnos, distribuidos de la siguiente forma: 10 alumnos en cuatro sedes, 6 en la quinta y 15 estudiantes en la sexta sede. ResumenCon intención de detectar las emociones expresadas en una asignatura desarrollada en un programa de educación superior a distancia (Máster Interuniversitario de Educación Ambiental), se ha realizado el análisis de un foro online, espacio idóneo de reflexión en el que se fomenta el aprendizaje colaborativo, lo que aporta información del efecto de la asignatura y su significatividad para los estudiantes. Lo distintivo de esta docencia virtual desarrollada en la asignatura es que está centrada en promover y hacerles vivir enfoques de enseñanza basados en la indagación entre futuros educadores ambientales. El aspecto emocional es determinante en la educación ambiental, por ello, a través de una metodología cualitativa, hemos abordado el análisis de las aportaciones de los estudiantes al foro online que nos ha permitido identificar emociones expresadas, sus detonantes y las actividades que pueden funcionar como estímulo en su futuro como educadores-as ambientales. La implicación emocional destacada en sus respuestas muestra que la asignatura no les deja indiferentes, destacando la satisfacción experimentada y su preocupación ante situaciones con posibles consecuencias negativas. AbstractIntended to evaluate the efficiency of a subject developed in a remote online higher education program (Interuniversity Environmental Education Joint Master Degree), we have developed an analysis of an online forum, an excellent place to reflect where the collaborative learning is fostered, providing information on the effect of the subject and its significance for students. What is characteristic of the virtual teaching developed in the subject is that is focused on promoting and experiencing inquiry-based teaching approaches among future environmental educators. The emotional aspect proves crucial for environmental education thus, through a qualitative methodology, we had addressed the analysis of the students' contributions in the online forum what let us identify emotions expressed, its triggers and the activities that can work as an incentive in their future as environmental educators.
