Evaluation Performance of Protocols LEACH, 802.15.4 and CBRP, Using Analysis of QoS in WSNs

Abstract: Standards can define the performance and required protocols in different types of nodes in Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs). In this article we discuss the Quality of Service (QoS) requirements in WSNs and present a survey of some of the QoS multi-parameters metrics in WSNs. Also, it gives the performance of 802.15.4, LEACH, and CBRP protocol considering parameters. The simulation tests were carried out by the simulator NS 2.29; it showed that the performance of 802.15.4 protocol is better than the LEACH. The r… Show more

“…The result of this research can provide guidance and direction to research and solve problems related to QoS requirements, and help to achieve the required QoS in WSNs. In this article [6], QoS parameters were studied in detail to evaluate the performance of three protocols. To do it, first three protocols 802.15.4, LEACH and CBRP were separately simulated in the NS simulator.…”

“…These include the assessment between multi-constrained QoS multipath routing in WSNs and the impact of AODV Protocol on the intensity of the network performance. Also, it shows the effect of the AODV protocol which ensures the efficiency [6].…”
