Experience acquisition by Trichogramma australicum Girault (Hymenoptera: Trichogrammatidae)

Abstract: We investigated experience acquisition (alpha-conditioning) by females of the parasitoid Trichogramma australicum using host eggs of the noctuid moth Helicoverpa armigera (Hübner). We compared the acceptance of a host egg by females with different levels of ovipositional experience.
