Extracellular ATP promotes protein synthesis in skeletal muscle through activation of the Akt‐mTOR signaling pathway

Abstract: ObjectiveExtracellular nucleotides are released from different cells surrounding skeletal muscle, like motoneuron, endothelial cells, fibroblasts and bone cells during exercise.
