“…Hydrogen peroxide is cheap and easily available green oxidant which forms water as the only byproduct. In continuation of our earlier research work, [21] herein, we report simple and effective method for oxidation of aldehyde to carboxylic acid compounds using DES, Choline chloride:Urea (ChCl:Urea) as a solvent and H 2 O 2 as an oxidant at 50°C.
