Facile fabrication of porous ZnO by a template free method

Abstract: In this paper, a template free method has been employed to fabricate porous ZnO. Brick shaped precursor was first synthesized by a mild hydrothermal process. Accompanied with the decomposition of the precursor during the subsequent annealing treatment, porous ZnO with the inherited morphology of the precursor was obtained. The as-prepared products were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). It exhibited that the porous hierarchical frame consists of nano-sheets with wu… Show more

“…Then the defect structure, spectroscopy and optical properties were investigated [60,61,62]. Dissimilar to Mg 2+ (or Zn 2+ , In 3+ ) and Fe co-doped LiNbO 3 crystals [63,64], Fe ions still remain at Li sites in LiNbO 3 :Hf,Fe crystals when the HfO 2 -doping concentration goes above its threshold value.…”

“…In the past few decades, more and more dielectric materials have been applied to holographic volume storage, such as Bi 12 SiO 20 , BaTiO 3 , and LiNbO 3 . Due to better nonlinear optical, electro‐optic, acoustic‐optical, ferroelectric, and photorefractive properties, LiNbO 3 crystals stand out in these dielectric materials. Recently, being a favorable material for holographic storage application, co‐doped Fe:Cu:LiNbO 3 crystal has attracted extensive interest .…”
