Fatty Liver in Fattened Geese

Abstract: Summary The enzyme profiles of liver and serum from crammed geese are recorded and compared with those of normal birds. The activities of LDH, MDH, GOT, AcP and CE in the liver were elevated, while the activities of ICDH, SDH and G 6 PDH were reduced. A marked increase was found in the activity of “malic enzyme„ (ME).
