Fibrillopathy in a pseudophakic eye

Abstract: The ultrastructure of the lens capsule remnants in an eye with known fibrillopathy (pseudoexfoliation/exfoliation syndrome) subjected to an extracapsular cataract extraction (ECCE) and lens implantation 11 months earlier was examined. Lens epithelial changes typical in lenses with fibrillopathy were observed.
