Forecasted estimation of the efficiency of agricultural drainage on drained lands

Abstract: In the article we developed the design principles and implementation of a complex model and optimized the design parameters of drainage. The study was based on the implementation of interconnected structural and technological forecasting simulation and optimization model blocks, which in turn allowed to justify the optimal design parameters and drainage considering multiple natural and agronomic conditions and reclamation facilities. Example of evaluating the performance of drainage on drained lands was made f… Show more

“…The role of climate in improving soil fertility is wellknown, scientists have even introduced a concept "agricultural fertility of the climate" as the ability of the atmosphere and the underlying surface to provide a certain level of soil fertility and agricultural crops yield through climatic resources. It is thus emphasized that the soil properties, its natural and effective fertility are manifested only in the presence of certain amount of moisture in the soil and at a certain thermal regime [5][6][7].…”

“…Predicting the movement of contaminants through porous media requires addressing the fate and transport processes that predominate in each sub medium and integrating the interactions between the media. This is a quite complicated problem [2][3][4][5][6].…”

“…Climate change and weather conditions that become unpredictable further intensify the urgency of this issue. In the generally accepted climate change trend, experts pay regard even to the possibility of local cold snaps' occurrence in certain areas, prolonged cold periods in spring, signifi cant fl uctuations of weather conditions (Boichenko, 2005;Iglesias & Garrote, 2015;Rokochynskiy, Volk, Frolenkova, Prykhodko, Gerasimov & Pinchuk, 2019;Rokochynskiy, Volk, Pinchuk, Turcheniuk, Frolenkova & Gerasimov, 2019).…”
