Formation of social competence of students in extracurricular activities through the means of interactive forms and methods of training

Abstract

The article substantiates the importance of forming the social competence of students in order to activate the personal, educational, professional and social levels through the use of interactive classes in extracurricular activities.
 The concept of social competence as a conscious manifestation of personality is revealed through his/her views, beliefs and attitudes to certain events, possession of social knowledge, skills and abilities in order to interact with society. Characteristic features of social competence are determined.
 The university performance in application of interactive forms and methods of work in extracurricular activities is analyzed.
 The advantages of application of the specified forms and methods of work with applicants of higher education are defined and more effective ones are characterized.
