Fractal geometrical properties of nuclei

Abstract: We present a new idea to understand the structure of nuclei, which is comparing to the liquid drop model. After discussing the probability that the nuclear system may be a fractal object with the characteristic of self-similarity, the nuclear irregular structure properties and the self-similarity characteristic are considered to be an intrinsic aspects of nuclear structure properties. For the description of nuclear geometric properties, nuclear fractal dimension is an irreplaceable variable similar to the nucl… Show more

“…Approaches to circumventing this insufficient solar energy supply involve the directions of improving sunlight capture, enhancing solar‐to‐thermal efficiency, and reducing heat loss to the surroundings. As such, a myriad of light‐absorbing materials was explored and developed to collect light over the full solar wavelength range via regulating the size and morphology of nanomaterials . Researchers also proposed the concept of interfacial evaporation to localize heat at the water–air interface, which greatly reduces the energy loss to underlying bulk water .…”

“…[ 1 ] Solar energy utilization has drawn increasing attention in the past few decades due to its distribution ability in a widespread area. [ 2–4 ] Solar‐thermal conversion is a prospective trend to make full use of solar energy, as it is environmentally friendly and has promising photothermal conversion efficiency. [ 5,6 ] A concentrating solar power (CSP) system is commonly installed for solar power generation, in which high‐temperature solar selective absorbing coatings (SSACs) play a crucial role in increasing the photothermal conversion efficiency and power station income.…”
