Functional lengths of the lower limb arterial tree measured by CT angiography centreline analysis: implications for catheter lengths in peripheral angioplasty
Abstract:Selection of a standard length catheter can result in a situation where the catheter is too short. Optimum catheter length for a particular task will reduce the need for catheter exchanges and use of multiple balloons and therefore reduce complications, procedure time, radiation dose and cost.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
