The surfactant polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) commonly used to synthesize silver nanowires (AgNW) in solution is known to negatively affect the performance of nanowire-based thin film electrodes. An insulating shell of the polymer hinders tight contact between the nanowires themselves and between the nanowires and substrate, resulting in high sheet resistance of the freshly prepared nanowire films. Here, we develop a simple low-temperature method allowing us to reduce the sheet resistance of AgNW networks and simultaneously improving the optical transmittance. The method is based on the capacity of PVP to absorb moisture which results in a strong decrease in the glass transition temperature of the polymer.The latter leads to softening effects, causing a reduced wire contact resistance already at 60 C for 90 nm thick AgNWs and even at 45 C for 35 nm thick AgNWs. As a result, the sheet resistances of the thin film electrodes treated by our method are near to the values conventionally obtained after thermal annealing at temperatures between 140-250 C. This study reports for the first time the excellent nonvolatile and volatile digital memory characteristics of polymers bearing 2-pyrrolidone and succinimide moieties. A series of new polymers is synthesized from poly(ethylene-alt-maleic anhydride) and four alcohol derivatives with and without 2-pyrrolidone and succinimide moieties. All polymers, including polyvinylpyrrolidone, are found to be thermally stable up to 195°C or higher, and characterized regarding their molecular orbital energy levels, bandgap, and resistive digital memory behaviors. Excitingly, the polymers bearing either 2-pyrrolidone or succinimide moiety demonstrate p-type digital memory behaviors with high ON/OFF current ratios and long reliabilities. Nonvolatile digital memory performance is achieved over the film thickness range of 10-80 nm, whereas volatile digital memory is demonstrated over a much narrower range of film thickness. All digital memory performances can be originated from the 2-pyrrolidone and succinimide moieties possessing high affinity and stabilization power to charges via charge traps and transformations based on a hopping conduction process. Hence, these new polymers are suitable for the production of high-performance p-type nonvolatile and volatile digital memory devices. Moreover, 2-pyrrolidone and succinimide can be used as new and economical electroactive building blocks for the development of advanced digital memory materials.

New polymers of silicone derivatives were prepared. The polymers were characterized by IR, NMR spectrophotometry. The biological activity against Streptococcus, E-Coli, Pseudomonas, Staphylococcus, Klebsiella were studied. The new polymers have shown more activity against Pseudomonas, Staphylococcus aureus, Klebsiella. The wound dressing studied on New Zealand White Rabbits (5 groups) each group contained 6 rabbits (3 male and 3 female), each animal had made 2 wounds ,one for control(povidone-iodine, silicone gel) and other for our compounds, all products showed good activity on open wounds more than drugs in market. Benzaldehyde is consists of benzene bearing a single formyl substituent; the simplest aromatic aldehyde and parent of the class of benzaldehydes. It has a role as a flavoring agent, a fragrance, an odorant receptor agonist. Polyvinylpyrrolidone has disinfectant properties, so we used it in our compound to become more potent.
