Data from the Alai Public Health Center in 2019 were 2.22% injecting family planning acceptors, 2.0% pills, 0.18% implants, 0.10% IUDs, 0.16% condoms, hormonal contraception is in great demand but most of the acceptors do not know side effects that often arise in the use of hormonal contraceptives. The purpose of this study was to describe the level of knowledge of family planning acceptors about hormonal and non-hormonal contraception in the Alai Public Health Center Work Area in 2020. This type of research is a descriptive study with a cross sectional approach. This research was conducted in the Alai Public Health Center Work Area from December 2020 to February 2021 with 91 samples using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. Data was collected using a questionnaire, then the data was processed and analyzed using the computer program. Based on the results of the study, the most knowledge was low, namely 43 people (47.3%) about hormonal contraception and the most knowledge was low, namely 46 people (50.5%) about non-hormonal contraception in the Alai Health Public Center work area in 2020. It is hoped that through the leadership of the Puskesmas, health workers will provide counseling for family planning acceptors regarding the selection of hormonal and nonhormonal family planning, counseling can be done in a virtual way such as using a moving car with loudspeakers and also posting banners with information about family planning selection.

Introduction: Advances in technology can help create new breakthroughs in providing information about family planning through a more efficient android-based contraceptive application that is useful for pregnant woman. The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of using the smart hormonal contraception KB guide application on increasing knowledge of pregnant women. Methods: Quasi-experimental research method with a two-group pre-test and post-test design. The sample of this study involved 94 pregnant women with the sampling technique using purposive sampling. The respondents of this study were then divided into 2 groups, namely the experimental group and the control group. Data were analyzed using Wilcoxon Signed Rank Test and Mann Whitney statistical analysis. Result: that the significant use of the hormonal contraceptive smart KB application can increase the knowledge of pregnant women about hormonal contraception by 72.3% (p-value 0.000) with good category. It also shows that there is a more significant increase in knowledge among pregnant women compared to pregnant women, which is only 44.7% (p-value 0.000) in the sufficient category. Conclusion: The use of the hormonal contraceptive smart KB guide application can significantly increase the knowledge of pregnant women.

Indonesia is one of the developing countries with the population being in the fourth position after China, India, and the United States. Therefore one of the efforts made by the government in suppressing the rate of population growth by Family Planning program. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors related to the use of Intrauterine Contraceptive (IUD) in the work area of Health Center Konda, Konawe Selatan Regional. This research applied analytic research with a cross-sectional design. The population as many as 3494 Couples of Childbearing Age and the sample amount to 72 respondents. Sampling technique using simple random sampling. The result showed that there is a correlation between knowledge with the use of contraception tool obtained p-value 0,026 <α = 0, 05, there is a correlation between attitude with contraception use obtained p-value 0.004 <α = 0, 05, there is a relationship between husband support with the use of contraception obtained p-value 0.000 <α = 0,05. This research concludes that there is a relationship between knowledge, attitude, and support of husband with the use of IUD in Work Area Health Center Konda of South Konawe Regency in 2017. The community, especially Couples of Childbearing Age, can actively increase knowledge about Intrauterine Contraceptive. Likewise, the Health Center especially midwives, should provide complete information about the Intrauterine Contraceptive, either directly or through banners.
