In order to explore the genetic diversity of wild Actinidia eriantha resources in Magu Mountain Nature Reserve, Nancheng County, Fuzhou City, Jiangxi Province of P.R. China, 145 wild A. eriantha germplasm resources were collected and used as tested materials. This research designed 40 SSR primers to amplify DNA of young leaf. A total of 224 alleles were obtained and the number of alleles of primers were ranged from 3 to 13. The average number of effective alleles was 2.83, the average Shannon's information index was 1.12, the average Nei's gene diversity index was 0.566, the average apparent heterozygosity was 0.54, and the average expected heterozygosity was 0.57. The results indicated that there were abundant variations among different substances in wild A. eriantha. In addition, the cluster analysis showed that the materials were divided into 13 groups at the genetic distance of 0.099, among them, the XIII group accounted for 81.38% of the total. This study would provide theoretical basis for the breeding of novel cultivars of A. eriantha and the genetic improvement of fruit quality.
