Abstract: Zusammenfassung Gestationsdiabetes (GDM) wird als Glukosetoleranzstörung definiert, die erstmals in der Schwangerschaft entdeckt wird. GDM ist mit einer erhöhten fetomaternalen Morbidität sowie Langzeitkomplikationen bei Mutter und Kind assoziiert. Frauen, die die Kriterien eines manifesten Diabetes bereits in der Frühschwangerschaft erfüllen (Nüchternplasmaglukose >126 mg/dl, Spontanglukosemessung über 200 mg/dl oder HbA1c > 6,5 % vor der 20.
