“…It is well documented that hyperglycemia causes oxidative stress, inflammation reaction via numerous mechanisms plays the crucial role in the expansion and progression of DC 10,11) . The activation of cyclooxygenase (COX) , glucose autoxidation, the generation of advanced glycation end products (AGE) , the polyol pathway, NADPH, and xanthine oxidase all play a part in the development of DC 1,6,12) . The above mechanisms boost the production of free radicals and inflammatory mediators, which further activate the stress signaling pathways 13) , that leading to enhanced the expression of NADPH oxidase, endothelin-1, Ang II, inflammatory cytokines and take part in boosting the NOS expression via activation of nuclear factor kappa B (NF-κB) , which boosts the production of nitric oxide (NO) .…”

“…In another study, the anti-hyperglycemic activity of AuNPs in STZ-induced diabetic animal models has been estimated. It is observed that AuNPs cause a reduction in hyperglycemia, decreasing the protein tissue content of TGF-β1 and myocardial mRNA in diabetic cardiomyopathy animal model [42].…”

“…Nanoparticles (NPs) are a novel technique used in the field of medical sciences which has been shown to have promising results [16]. Extensive researches have revealed the importance of NPs in medicine owing to their role in catalytic degradation [17], antiviral [18], antibacterial [19], anticancer [20], antidiabetic [21], and wound healing [22].…”

“…The most commonly used metals to synthesize NPs are platinum, palladium, silver, and gold [23]. Among these common metals, gold is possessing a high ionic conductivity, and synthesized gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) can be adjusted based on their surface state, shape, and size [18,21,[23][24][25][26][27].…”
