Schwanbeck and Kubeczka () reported on the successful separation of several volatile hydrocarbons in compound mixtures, while in rare cases, individual fragrance terpenoids were determined in essential oils by HPLC (Solinas and Gessa ; Newbery and others ; Mohammed ; Wang and Liu ; Wu and others ).
