This study aims to examine historical values in Tasaro GK's novel Muhammad Man Holding Rain by using historical research and a qualitative approach. Data collection using analysis and interview techniques. The data analysis technique was carried out by reading the main research source, namely the historical novel Muhammad The Man Holding the Rain, then describing and drawing conclusions. The interview technique was carried out with the writer of the novel Muhammad Man Holding the Rain, namely Tasaro GK. The data in this study are in the form of excerpts from novels that contain historical elements. The results of this study indicate the existence of historical data in his authorship. The relevance of the use of literature and history can be found in several parts of this novel, by using fictional characters so that the storyline becomes dynamic. The implication of using the novel Muhammad's Man Holding the Rain in understanding sirah nabawiyah requires a deep interpretation of every event in the novel.

<em><em>This article is titled Al-Mas'udi's Contribution in development Classical Islamic Historiography. The focus of the study in this article is to analyze al-Mas'udi's contribution in development historiography during classical Islam in the bibliographic aspects and methods he used. This article uses historical methods that include heuristic stages, verification, interpretation, and historiography. The approach used is a biographical approach. The results in this article show al-Mas'udi's contribution to the development of Islamic historiography in classical times. The contribution can be seen from the bibliographic aspects and the methods he used. Al-Mas'udi used a lot of empirical data as well as the knowledge he gained from scholars. In addition, he also used the samawi books and the books of Greek philosophers in compiling his work. In the historiographical methods section, al-Mas'udi was instrumental in pioneering the use of the dirayah and thematic methods. Al-Mas'udi's work was recognized by subsequent historians, one of whom was Ibn Khaldun. Nonetheless, al-Mas'udi received criticism for his historiographical work, such as the mythological side of his work, al-Mas'udi's tendency towards Shi'a, and the absence of sources in al-Mas'udi's work</em>.</em>

The position of sirah or the study of the history of the prophet Muhammad SAW has an important position in the Islamic religious tradition where it ranks second after the study of hadith or sunnah. Thus, this article aims to describe how the study of the nabawiyah sirah was carried out by the two main retainers of its writing, especially seeing how the process and the relationship between these two sirah works from a historical perspective. This article itself was written with a qualitative descriptive approach supported by data collection methods in the form of literature study. From the results of the review, it is known that Ibn Ishaq's sirah is the first work that is able to systematically review the life story of the prophet, although there are still many shortcomings and finally it was perfected by Ibn Hisham with his sirah work. Both Ibn Ishaq and Ibn Hisham, both have important contributions in writing the book Sirah Nabawiyah. Ibn Ishaq with the quality of his book narration is strong enough to make his work an important reference in the study of the nabawiyah sirah.
