Citizenship literacy is an essential thing in shaping the character of students. The low literacy of students regarding civic literacy will have a significant impact and cause various national problems. This study aims to determine the actualization of civic literacy in the learning process of citizenship education in schools. Qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Data collection techniques with observational interviews, notes, and documentation as the primary source of information. The research was conducted at SMA N 1 Babatan, Ponorogo, Indonesia. The results of this study indicate that the actualization of civic literacy in learning citizenship education is carried out through several learning approaches, including 1) the learning model is applied to support the student's understanding process through citizen project activities. 2) Students are asked to discuss citizenship issues with the problem-solving system, then students are asked to write them down in the form of a resume. 3) democratic practice activities in the form of selecting student council presidents as a means of learning citizenship. 4) literacy program 20 minutes before learning. Before entering class, students read books for one hour, be it learning packages, novels, term papers, etc. 5) giving assignments regarding civic insight. This research contributes to improving the quality of civics learning and providing motivation.

This study was based on the development of the times which increasingly shows attention to character education – the responsibility of students who are starting to worry about education staff and parents. Civics subjects that focus on the formation of citizens who understand and are able to carry out their rights and obligations. However, in the current state of the Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) outbreak, it demanded to implement social restrictions and organize an activity from home through government circular number 15 of 2020. The obstacles faced in the implementation of online learning, among others, related to the readiness of human resources, limitations in facilities and infrastructure, as well as limitations in communication. This study determined the efforts to develop the character of responsibility from both teachers and students during online learning at a vocational high school in Cimahi City. This study used a qualitative approach, where the data were involving the results of interviews with teachers, curriculum representatives, and students. The results of the study, strengthening the character of responsibility can be seen from the objective conditions of online learning, lesson planning, implementation, evaluation, and school support programs, and PPKn teachers. To improve the quality of online learning, schools provide learning services according to needs during a pandemic, policy socialization is needed by teachers. curriculum representatives, as well as students. The purpose of this study was to analyze and study about promoting the values of Pancasila for Elementary Schools through interactive learning media. This study was also carried out to answer the challenges and responses of Citizenship Education in the Covid-19 pandemic. This research was literature study. The results of the study showed that promoting the values of Pancasila for Elementary Schools through interactive learning media in the Covid-19 pandemic was as 1) an effort to foster digital character for the digital native generation, 2) the existence of interactive learning media became a support system in promoting the values of Pancasila for Elementary Schools, and 3) interactive learning media could be an instrument in realizing a digital native generation who has ideological awareness. This study concluded that promoting the values of Pancasila for elementary schools using interactive media was the correct step in learning Citizenship Education in Elementary Schools. The study recommended that promoting the values of Pancasila for Elementary Schools needed to be done continuously, because it will be widely shared with the ideological awareness of students in Elementary Schools.
