The purpose of this research is to analize the impact of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University (Untirta) as one of the State Universities in Banten to social economy impact which is proxied by human development index and economy growth in Serang City. Generally, there are two subtansial problems. First, the impact of the existence of the Untirta campus has not much impact to the human development index Serang City. Second, the relationship between educational sector and economic growth rate requires to further study. This research uses Ordinary Less Square regression and Input-Output Analysis. According to the results of several regression models, there are consistent influence of government investment and student graduated of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University which lead to an increase in human development index of Serang City. Meanwhile, according to another regression model, investment has not significant influence to local economy growth. However, the student graduated of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University has positive relationship and significant to influence the local economy growth. Furthermore, Input-Output Analysis is an equilibrium model, where Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University as services provide on the education sector. Education sector has ability to increase industrial growth upstream (backward linkage) and encourage the production of other sectors that use inputs from the education service sector.

AbstrakPertumbuhan ekonomi merupakan motor penggerak pertumbuhan ekonomi. Perkembangan ekonomi berkaitan erat dan bergantung pada pertumbuhan ekonomi. Pembangunan ekonomi memiliki potensi untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi, tidak peduli seberapa ekstrem; Pertumbuhan ekonomi berpotensi untuk mempercepat proses pertumbuhan ekonomi. Suatu negara dapat diprediksi akan mengalami stagnasi ekonomi ketika GNP mencapai puncaknya. Padahal, faktor yang menyebabkan turunnya pertumbuhan ekonomi disebabkan oleh runtuhnya perekonomian yang akan datang. Pertumbuhan ekonomi dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor yang berbeda. Satu-satunya faktor terpenting yang kami gunakan yakni indeks konstruksi manusia, yang dibenarkan karena berpotensi digunakan untuk mengukur keadaan ekonomi suatu daerah. Maksud studi yaitu untuk mengkaji pengaruh antara indeks pembangunan manusia terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di provinsi Banten pada periode 2019 – 2021 dengan variabel bebas yang digunakan yaitu taraf pendidikan, taraf kesehatan dan standar hidup. Serta mengetahui faktor atau variabel mana yang lebih menonjol dalam mempengaruhi pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Banten. Studi ini memakai alat analisis Eviews – 10 dengan metode analisis kuantitatif dan data panel. Metode pengujian yang dipakai dalam penelitian adalah Fixed Affect Model. Hasil studi menggambarkan bahwa taraf pendidikan, kesehatan dan standar hidup berpengaruh positif terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Banten periode 2019 – 2021 dan variabel yang berpengaruh besar terhadap pertumbuhan ekonomi di Provinsi Banten pada rentang 2019 – 2021 adalah taraf kesehatan.Kata Kunci: Modal Manusia; Pertumbuhan Ekonomi; Pembangunan Ekonomi. AbstractEconomic growth as a factor in economic development success. Economic development and economic growth are intimately connected. Economic growth would spur economic development, and vice versa, the process of economic development might be aided by economic growth. It is possible to anticipate that a nation would face economic stagnation when its GNP hits its peak. In this approach, the appearance of economic growth turns into a sign of how well economic development has gone. Numerous things can have an impact on economic growth. The human development index is one of the variables we take into consideration since it may be used to estimate a region's economic health. The purpose of this study is to ascertain how the human development index affects. This study uses the level of education, health, and standard of living as independent variables to examine the impact of the human development index on economic growth in the province of Banten from 2019 to 2021. Additionally, it is important to understand which variables or factors have a stronger influence on Banten Province's economic growth. This study employs panel data, quantitative analytic techniques, and the analysis program Eviews - 10. The Fixed Affect Model is the test methodology employed in this study. The findings indicated that economic growth in Banten Province during the 2019–2021 period was positively influenced by factors such as living standards, health, and education levels, with health being the one that had the most influence. The enactment of the Village Law marks the beginning of the rural development transformation through Village Owned Enterprise (VOE) implementation. In Indonesia, 45,549 VOEs have been established in 83,931 villages. VOEs are developed with a social business model to provide economic and social benefits to the community. Unfortunately, VOEs demonstrating satisfying performance in Indonesia have not reached 600. This research focused on discovering significant factors influencing VOEs’ ability to accomplish their best economic and social performance and proposed a success pattern that other VOEs could adapt to their natural and human assets. This study adopted a qualitative mono-method with 24 sources, varying from village government officers, directors and personnel of VOEs, academicians, and other parties, focusing on exploring three VOEs with accomplishments. The findings uncovered six propositions that must be fulfilled for VOEs to attain the necessary success concerning social and economic performance. These results suggested that the village government’s commitment, the VOEs’ management professionalism, and the village community’s involvement must cooperate to produce a balanced social and economic performance. This discovery also suggested VOEs to reflect and reproduce local knowledge trough take an advantage of their distinctive natural and human resources.
