“…The peak in the SPION spectra corresponded to the C1s (285 eV), O1s (528.5 eV), and Fe2p (710.3 eV). In the D-SPION spectra, a peak corresponding to the nitrogen sign at N1s (398.2 eV) was observed [ 2 ]. XPS analysis revealed the presence of the dendrimer on the iron oxide nanoparticle surfaces.…”

“…The use of magnetic nanoparticles (MNPs) coupled with magnetic base devices has been increasing in the biomedical field [1][2][3][4]. Among them, superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (SPIONs) are widely used in nanomedicine for diagnoses, therapeutics, drug, and gene delivery systems [5][6][7][8].…”

“…Another study showed that a positive zeta potential of approximately 20 ± 2 mV was particularly effective in capturing gram-negative pathogens, such as E. coli, while being ineffective for gram-positive pathogens, such as S. Aureus [ 43 ]. Notably, research regarding the antibacterial properties of GO/rGO generally uses significantly higher concentrations than the 4 μg/mL, which is regarded as the maximum non-cytotoxic concentration [ 43 , 108 ].…”

“…The magnetic properties of the core-shell nanostructures are reported to improve due to the diverse coupling interactions between the core and shell nano particles via interfacial defect acts as anisotropy in ferro-ferri and ferro-anti ferro magnetic structures [ 33 , 34 , 35 ], which make them great candidates to use in magnetic imaging [ 36 , 37 , 38 ]. In this study, we used the seed-growth technique to prepare spherical cobalt ferrite (s-CoFe 2 O 4 ) as a magnetic core template to cover with the cubic iron oxide as shell (c-Fe 3 O 4 ) to form (s-CoFe 2 O 4 @c-Fe 3 O 4 ) core-shell NPs [ 39 , 40 , 41 , 42 ]. The WS 2 nanosheets were synthesized by a series of chemical methods followed by a non-oxygen annealing process.…”
