“…Lyophyllum decastes is proved to be a health-promoting supplement due to its antitumor (Kim et al, 1984;Ukawa et al, 2000;Ding et al, 2022), antidiabetic (Miura et al, 2002), antihypertension (Kokean et al, 2005), anti-hyperlipidemic (Ukawa et al, 2002;Wang T. et al, 2022), immunoregulation (Ding et al, 2022), hepatic-protection (Zhang et al, 2022), radioprotection (Nakamura et al, 2007), and skin lesion protection effects (Ukawa et al, 2007). Polysaccharides were the major bioactive compounds characterized in L. decastes (Ukawa et al, 2000;Ding et al, 2022;Wang T. et al, 2022;Zhang et al, 2022). Pokhrel et al investigated the optimistic submerged culture conditions for mycelial yield and polysaccharide production by L. decastes and found that a concentration of glucose 3% + yeast extract 1% was a suitable condition for submerged culture (Pokhrel and Ohga, 2007).…”
