Identifikasi Lapisan Lapuk Bawah Permukaan Menggunakan Seismik Refraksi di Desa Lengkeka Kecamatan Lore Barat Kabupaten Poso

Abstract: Penelitian tentang identifikasi lapisan lapuk bawah permukaan menggunakan seismik refraksi telah dilakukan di Desa Lengkeka Kecamatan Lore Barat Kabupaten Poso. Show more

“…Potential damage to buildings due to deformation of the subsurface soil can be identified from the thickness of the weathered layer. (Artono, et al 2017;H Sulistiawan et al, 2016). In order to minimize the risk of construction damage during construction, a subsurface study to identify the thickness of the weathered layer needs to be carried out.…”

“…Determination of the subsurface rock layer structure can be done using the seismic refraction method [4]. The seismic refraction method is used in shallow layers to determine the depth of bedrock IOP Publishing doi:10.1088/1755-1315/1228/1/012019 2 and does not require a prominent energy source or elaborate equipment [5]. The basic assumptions that must be met for shallow layering research are the earth medium is considered to be layered, and each layer propagates seismic waves at different speeds, the deeper the rock layers will be more compact, the seismic wavelength is smaller than the thickness of the earth's crust, seismic wave propagation can be viewed as light obeying the fundamental laws of light trajectory, at the boundary between layers, seismic waves propagate with velocity in the layer below, wave speed increases with increasing depth [6], [7].…”
