Candidate Teachers' Views on Professional Achievements in Instructional Technologies and Material Design A Qualitative Study

“…It is seen that the ITMD class for the candidate teachers has multidimensional benefits for the individual and social development of the students. Researches (Aslan, 2015;Birişçi and Karal, 2011;Bakaç and Özen, 2016;Güneş and Aydoğdu İskenderoğlu, 2014;Johson and Howell, 2005;Kolburan Geçer, 2010) support the results of this research. The research results show that the material design process increases the cooperative work, develops creative thinking skills and presenting the material in the class environment helps to the individual and social development It is understood that the ITMD class for the candidate teachers changes the views of the students about the education environments in a positive manner in different ways.…”

Attitudes of preservice teachers having pedagogical formation certificate training towards instructional technology and material design course

“…Çalışmamızda öğretmenler anlatmakta zorlandıkları kavramlar olduğunu ve bu kavramlar için mesleki gelişime yönelik çalışmalar yaptıklarını, görsel-işitsel kaynaklar kullandıklarını ve kavramı pekiştirici etkinlikler yaptıklarını belirtmişlerdir. Kavramların doğru anlaşılması ve yanılgıların giderilmesi için, öğretmenlerin konuyu işleyiş biçimini zenginleştirmeli ve kullandıkları öğretim tekniklerinin çeşitlendirmeli (Türk, Alemdar ve Kalkan, 2012), kavramları somutlaştırarak anlatmalı (Bolat ve ark., 2014) , görsel öğretim materyalleri (cd, slayt, projeksiyon, tepegöz) kullanmalı (Güneş, Ünsal, ve Ergin, 2001), çeşitli animasyon ve simülasyon teknikleriyle desteklemeli ve mümkün olduğunca hareketli olan öğretim materyalleri tercih edilmeli, öğrencilerin muhakeme ve uzamsal düşünme seviyelerini dikkate alan öğrenme ortamları yapılandırmalıdır (Kurnaz ve Değermenci, 2012).
