The current research addresses the issue of student academic performance while identifying its potential predictors. social media addiction is predicting variable and student performance is dependent variable whereas student engagement is mediating variable. Current research proposes following research hypotheses; firstly to examine the direct impact of Social Media addiction on the student academic performance and student engagement while checking the direct impact of social media addiction on the student engagement respectively. Secondly, current research examines mediating effect of student engagement in relation between social media addiction and student academic performance. Students of Govt. universities are the target population. 250 university students were selected with the help of the snowball sampling technique. Results reveal that all three hypotheses are accepted over significant outcomes of statistical procedures. In future research, other potential predictors of student academic performance like use of Facebook, use of Twitter may include in addition to target students of private universities along with students of Govt. universities and compare the results.

Making a decision to study in foreign countries is considered one of the most difficult tasks. However, it is one of the most essential and valuable attempts for the students because in foreign countries the quality of lessons are high and they can make huge social relations with learners. Also, China accepts students from all over the world. This study examined the feelings, and motivations of Afghan students; the data was collected through google form and constructed interview which 99 students were the participants. A mixed approach was used for this study. Moreover, the interview was done with those learners who have been completed their higher education in the country of China and the data was analyzed through SPSS 26 version. The findings asserted that learning of students in China is very beneficial as well with the relations of other foreign countries who study in China. Furthermore, the findings indicated more that learners have noticeable achievements in the parts of the culture of China, new technology; learning of Chinese language. Additionally, in China living allowance, medical services, well-equipped dormitories and the services of seeing historical places are free of charge for the better life of students. Effect of Formative Classroom Assessment in Saudi Arabian Elementary Schools

Purpose: This study investigates the effect of formative classroom assessment (FCA) on elementary school pupils in Saudi Arabia.Methodology: The duration of the study covered one entire academic year. The work was based on an experimental design of two tests: pre- and post-test. The number of participants was 120 pupils of mixed gender. The participants were purposively sampled for this study. The study’s two tests were based on the Basic Science Achievement Test (BSAT). The pupil’s test feedback was validated by experienced teachers in the field.Results: The results demonstrated that FCA had a significant effect on elementary school pupils by improving academic test scores. This research further showed that FCA had an increased positive effect on female pupils’ academic exam scores when compared to male pupils.Contribution to Theory Policy and Practice: The study recommends enforcing regular and continuous FCA for elementary-level school pupils with appropriate and adequate FCA training for teachers in order to improve pupils’ academic achievements.
