Curriculum development is a necessity. The implementation of two curricula, namely Curriculum 13 and the Independent Learning curriculum, is a fact on the ground. The development carried out by teachers aims to increase the success of the learning process because the main factor for improving the quality of education is the curriculum. Curriculum development is successful when a teacher can implement the curriculum. This research aims to explain the views of PAI teachers at SMKN 2 Yogyakarta on the development of the 2013 curriculum and the Merdeka Belajar curriculum. This research uses qualitative research with a descriptive approach. Data sources include two types, namely primary data in the form of factual data in the field obtained through the process of observation, interviews, and documentation, while secondary data is obtained through the study of literary sources in the form of books, journals, websites and also other literary sources. The subjects of this research were all PAI teachers at SMK Negeri 2 Yogyakarta. The research results show that curriculum development by PAI teachers is carried out through religious activities such as Dhuha prayers and congregational prayers, routine activities of reading the Qur'an or the book, and keputrian.
