Improvement Ivestigation of the TCP Algorithms With Avoiding Network Congestion Based on OPNET

Abstract: The aim of this paper is to determine the performance enhancement of the network for eliminating congestion through the use of the benefits of algorithms. These algorithms can be used in hindering the congestion which may occur within the network that relies on a Transmission Control Protocol (TCP) protocol. This paper specifically focuses on demonstrating the function of TCP, and most especially the four (slow start, congestion avoidance, fast retransmit and fast recovery algorithms) that are applied in the c… Show more

“…RoF technology can be used for dead zone cover, everywhere the wireless signal transmission is impossible to distribute due to the wave propagation characteristics such as mountains undergrounds, tunnels, and isolated places [13]. Also, RoF technology can be considered for distributed antennas system (DAS) to support mobility users and to cover the stadium zones.…”

“…Routes between source and destination are maintained by Optimized Link State Routing Protocol (OLSR) and Destined Sequenced Distance Vector (DSDV) irrespective of data traffic, unlike proactive and reactive routing protocols [19]. The need for locating routes for each message is avoided by this strategy, while efficiency is increased when the nodes are relatively stationery and traffic relatively heavy [20]. The use of reactive and proactive techniques is employed by hybrid routing protocol.…”

“…The discussions in this section focused on the optical OFDM down-link from the signal BRPS-generated signal via the reception of the signal at the end-user. However, this system differed from the previous modeling system by using the OFDM as a multicarrier modulation technique to process the signal rather than using only the QAM scheme obtainable in the traditional optical systems [26,27]. Therefore, the following are the purpose for optical OFDM-RoF integration with wireless technology: -The cost-effectiveness of the direct optoelectronic demodulation related to the RoF utilized for wireless communication.…”
