Inaccessible Drilling Targets and Completions Operation Made Possible by the Alleviation of Excessive Torque and Drag

Abstract: This paper describes the factors contributing to excessive torque and drag that necessitated the use of sub-based mechanical friction-reduction tools in one land and two offshore wells. The software modeling of torque and drag is presented with the predicted and actual results.
