The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the management of private Islamic tertiary institutions which are required to become quality tertiary institutions in terms of the accreditation obtained by the tertiary institutions themselves. The research method uses phenomenological qualitative. Primary data source; university leaders namely STIT Al-Hikmah Tebing Tinggi, IAIDU Kisaran, STAI Al Ihlas Sidikalang, FAI UISU, STAI Lubuk Pakam, and STAI Lubuk Pakam. Secondary data sources; research journals, books, and websites. Qualitative research data collection techniques, namely documentation, observation, and interviews. Descriptive-qualitative analysis techniques and reflective analysis. The research results of KERJASAMA IX North Sumatra have the task of supervising, controlling, fostering, and empowering private Islamic tertiary institutions. Provide consideration and follow-up sanctions against PTAIS that provide non/low quality education. Strategic steps that can be considered in the development of PTAI in the face of globalization are changing the Mindset from the Paradigm of Spectators to Actors, giving birth to graduates with an entrepreneurial spirit, Diplomacy of International Standard Academic Tracks, Sending Lecturers Abroad to Ministry of Religion Launching of 5000 Doctoral scholarship programs, Increasing Foreign Language Competence and global-based standardization of Academic Facilities.

Rapid technological developments greatly affect the demand for products and services. So the industry needs to improve to maximize production achievements in order to meet market needs. The development of industry 4.0 provides an opportunity to revitalize the Indonesian manufacturing sector. Moreover, the Ministry of Industry has compiled "Making Indonesia 4.0" as a strategy and roadmap to develop industry 4.0 in Indonesia. Indonesia focuses on five main sectors for the development of industry 4.0, including the food and beverage, chemical, electronics, textile and clothing, and automotive industries. This research was conducted to determine the level of readiness of the manufacturing industry, especially the food and beverage industry at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara VIII to face industry 4.0 based on organizational and technological aspects. The measurement method used is the Indonesia Industry 4.0 Readiness Index (INDI 4.0). With these results, it can help the industry know the current level of achievement and know what needs to be done to get to the level of industry 4.0. Based on online and offline assessments carried out at the level of readiness, the people and culture aspects as well as the technology aspect have the highest level of use but are at Level 2. The technological aspect has the lowest readiness at Level 1. Overall, the company's readiness is at Level 1 (readiness stage). early) almost reached moderate readiness (Level 2).

At this time, we have entered the 4th industrial revolution, or what is often called Industry 4.0, where all activities or data can be accessed in real time. Manufacturing companies are currently facing Industry 4.0 as a challenge. Manufacturing companies see the concept of Industry 4.0 as very complex which can disrupt the company’s business processes and manufacturing companies also find it difficult to assess their readiness to transform and fail to make strategies and work plans. The purpose of the research is to develop an assessment tool in one part of the industry 4.0 assessment to make it easier for manufacturing companies to assess their company readiness and find out one of the things that must be done to transform to Industry 4.0. This study conducted a scientific study of the existing Industry 4.0 assessment reference standards such as IMPULS from Germany and INDI from Indonesia. Scientific studies looked at and studied the history of the creation of reference standards for the IMPULS and INDI assessments. This study also looks at the correlation between the assessment reference standards and the comparison between IMPULS and INDI. The results of this study see a correlation between each assessment reference standard based on the literature review and develop an assessment tool to assess one part of industry 4.0 assessment.
