Influence of Anionic Surface Charged Biocompatible Dendrimer With a Photosensitizer, Protoporphyrin IX, on Human Red Blood Cells: A Spectroscopic Investigation

Abstract: A biocompatible anionic dendrimer with carboxylic acid and phenolic hydroxyl functional groups at the surface of every half and full generations was designed by condensing Phloroglucinol and Succinic Acid (PGSA) and its hemolytic effect on red blood cells (RBC) was studied.
