“…Presence of quite a high prepulse significantly decreases the average degree of ionization in irradiated solid-state target. Investigations of high-order harmonic generation during solid-density plasma surfaces interaction described in [4] show that the use of plasma mirrors (a widely known way to improve the contrast, for details see [5]) allows us to improve the efficiency of the coherent wake emission mechanism [6]. For this reason, it is crucially important to have an opportunity to monitor a temporal profile of laser pulses applied for experiments.…”
