Inheritance to tomato necrotic ring orthotospovirus resistance (TNRV) in pepper is controlled by single recessive gene (Puangmalai, Potapohn, Akarapisarn, & Pascha, ). Some of the genes identified to confer resistance against orthotospoviruses are as follows: Swa1 , Swb1 (Finlay, ), Sw‐5 (Stevens et al., ), Sw‐6 (Rosello et al., ) and Sw‐7 (Stevens et al., ) are dominant genes, while sw2 , sw3 and sw4 (Finlay, ) are recessive genes conferring resistance to TSWV in tomato.…”
