The emergence of e-wallet is gaining momentum around the world. People are switching to e-wallet to pay for their purchases. The Malaysian government is also promoting the usage of e-wallet through several initiatives. Nevertheless, the e-wallet usage is considered still low. Therefore, the current study's purpose is to identify how factors such as social influence, perceived usefulness, security system, perceived risk, and facilities condition can influence the intention to use e-wallet. Around 200 responses are obtained using the convenience sampling technique. The results revealed that perceived usefulness, security system and facilities conditions significantly influence the intention to use e-wallet among generation Z. However, social influence and perceived risk do not influence e-wallet usage intention. The results provided the insight on how to encourage and increase e-wallet usage among Malaysian. Since the government is also promoting payment using e-wallet the finding of this research is essential to develop the appropriate policies.
