Indonesia is a country and has the largest population in the world, but in terms of education and scientific publications, Indonesia is still far behind other countries, such as Malaysia and Singapore. And if we look at PT in Indonesia, PTKI under the auspices of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia is far behind from PTU. So this study aims to provide information and motivation in increasing scientific publications at Islamic Religious Colleges. The methodology of this research is descriptive qualitative with a library research model. The technique of this research is to collect data from primary sources, such as books related to the discussion of motivation for scientific publications. While the secondary sources in this research, namely books, accounts of Ristekdikti, Sinta and scientific articles related to the discussion. The results of the study can be concluded, that to increase interest and publication of scientific works at Islamic Religious Colleges, there are three methods that must be carried out by the university, namely Training (Workshop), Rewards and binding rules, so that with this motivation can provide an increase to make Islamic religious universities that can compete with other universities in the form of scientific publications for their lecturers and students.
