Bedside handover dan conference merupakan bagian komunikasi efektif keperawatan yang berperan untuk meningkatkan kesinambungan asuhan keperawatan dan pasien safety. Pemahaman bedside handover dan conference yang tepat dapat diperoleh melalui pelatihan. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk memperoleh gambaran tentang pengaruh pelatihan bedside handover dan conference terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, kinerja dan kepuasan kerja perawat. Metode penelitian ini adalah Pre-post test design with control group. Data diambil sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan Bedside handover dan conference. Menggunakan total sampling, setiap kelompok terdiri dari 32 orang. Penelitian menggunakan kuesioner sebagai instrument dengan univariat dan bivariat analisis. Penelitian menunjukkan Ada pengaruh yang signifikan antara pelatihan bedside handover dan conference terhadap peningkatan pengetahuan, kinerja dan kepuasan kerja perawat antara sebelum dan sesudah pelatihan pada perawat yang dilatih. Usia, Jenis kelamin bukan variabel counfounding pada peningkatan pengetahuan, kinerja dan kepuasan. Namun lama kerja merupakan variabel counfounding pada peningkatan pengetahuan dan kinerja dan bukan variabel counfounding pada kepuasan kerja perawat. Bedside handover dan confererence yang dilakukan konsisten dan tepat terbukti meningkatkan pengetahuan, kinerja dan kepuasan kerja perawat serta diyakini mampu meningkatkan kesinambungan asuhan keperawatan dan keselamatan pasien.

In healthcare, effective teamwork and communication are essential. Medical errors are prevalent because there is a lack of a patient safety culture. This article's goal is to highlight TeamSTEPPS interventions that improve team effectiveness in the healthcare industry. Using Google Scholar, Science Direct, and PubMed with restrictions for the years 2018 through 2023, a review of published articles was conducted. In order to assess the efficacy of TeamSTEPPS, the six studies under consideration used a variety of instruments, including the Hospital Survey of Patient Safety Culture Questionnaire, the Short Assessment of Patient Satisfaction Scale, the Nursing Culture Assessment Tool, and the Patient's Adverse Events Questionnaire. The TeamSTEPPS program's interprofessional participants demonstrated improved coordination, cooperation, and communication between healthcare professionals. As a result, it is important to make the TeamSTEPPS program sustainable and part of the culture of health services.

Background: Communication is a bridge of transaction between the health team, patients, and families that applies in the service units of hospitals, which are closely related to the patient safety culture. TeamSTEPPS is a team strategies and tools to enhance performance and patient safety. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the effect of modified TeamSTEPPS training on the team communication of nurses in hospitals.Design and Methods: This study used a quasi-experimental pre-posttest control group design and a purposive sampling technique.Results: About 28 nurses participated and were distributed into control and intervention groups. The results of the Wilcoxon test on communication perception obtained a p-value greater than α (0.980>0.050), while on communication attitudes the p-value was greater than α (0.517>0.050). Furthermore, the spearman rho test showed that there was no difference between the team perception (p=0.624; α=0.050) and communication attitudes (p = 0.320; α = 0.050). This means that the implementation of this training towards nurses’ Team communication in the hospital did not have a significant effect.Conclusions: Hospitals need to carry out the implementation of TeamSTEPPS in a sustainable manner and develop good teamwork and effective team communication.
