The Covid-19 pandemic requires people to learn online, one of which is at the elementary school level. Principals must be able to play a role as managers in managing learning during the Covid-19 Pandemic. This study aims to analyze the role of the principal as a manager and the pedagogical competence of teachers in online learning during the Covid-19 period. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research, namely by interpreting the data obtained from the field. Data collection was carried out on 4 principals and 49 teachers using a questionnaire distributed via google forms. Data analysis used descriptive quantitative with percentages. The results showed that the principal's role as a manager in online learning was not optimal in the indicators of the school determining the curriculum used in online learning (44%) and the principal facilitating support for online learning (50%). At the same time, the pedagogic competence also showed less than optimal in Playing their competencies is shown by the 5 lowest percentage indicators, including understanding the cognitive development of students (59%), designing learning methods (52%), designing learning models (56%), carrying out assessments of learning outcomes (54.5%), and conducting material assessments. (56%). With a strong commitment from teachers and principals, various efforts and programs carried out during online learning will optimally achieve learning objectives.

Kinerja guru kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh guru dalam melaksanakan proses pembelajaran seperti merencanakan, melaksanakan pembelajaran, dan mengevaluasi/menilai hasil belajar. Hanya saja dalam proses pelaksanaannya masih terdapat beberapa guru yang memiliki kinerja kurang maksimal. Kurang optimalnya kinerja guru dapat dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor seperti kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan lingkungan kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui besaran kontribusi kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru. Penelitian Ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksposfakto. Penarikan sampel dilakukan dengan menggunakan teknik sampling total, yakni menggunakan seluruh populasi penelitian sebagai sampel. Adapun jumlah populasinya yakni sebanyak 47 orang guru PNS. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu metodee non tes dengan instrument pengumpulan data berupa kuesioner/angket pada variabel bebas yaitu kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan lingkungan kerja, pencatatan dokumen untuk variabel terikat yaitu kinerja guru. Uji hipotesis penelitian ini menggunakan analisis regresi linear sederhana dan berganda setelah uji prasyarat terpenuhi. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat kontribusi yang signifikan secara bersama-sama antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan lingkungan kerja terhadap kinerja guru dapat yang dibuktikan berdasarkan rhitung = 43,674 > rtabel = 0,294 dan kontribusinya sebesar 66%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepemimpinan kepala sekolah dan lingkungan kerja berkontribusi yang signifikan terhadap kinerja guru SD Gugus VII Kecamatan Abiansemal.

The role of school principals is very important in optimizing teacher performance during the Covid-19 pandemic. In addition, a conducive school organizational climate is able to provide solutions to teacher performance problems that arise during the Covid-19 pandemic. This study aims to analyze the effect of Principal Managerial Ability and School Organizational Climate on Teacher Performance During the Covid-19 Pandemic. This type of research is quantitative research. The research method used is a quantitative method. The population in this study amounted to 184. The sample in this study was 126 teachers. The technique used to collect data is interview and observation. The instrument used to collect data is a questionnaire. The results showed that the principal's managerial ability had an effect on teacher performance as indicated by the Fcount 92,102 (p <0.05) and had a strong tightness based on the correlation coefficient value of 0.653. Furthermore, the school organizational climate affects teacher performance as indicated by the Fcount 126,784 (p <0.05) and has a strong tightness based on the correlation coefficient of 0.711. In addition, the principal's managerial ability and school organizational climate simultaneously affect teacher performance based on the Fcount 75.497 (p <0.05) and has a strong tightness based on the R value of 0.742. It can be concluded that the principal's managerial ability and the school's organizational climate simultaneously affect teacher performance during the Covid-19 pandemic.
