Laboratory-Based Investigation into Stress Corrosion Cracking of Cable Bolts

Abstract: Cable-bolt failures due to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) could significantly compromise the sustainability and long-term stability of underground constructions. To fully understand the SCC of cable bolts, a two-step methodology was implemented: (i) long-term cable-bolt coupon tests using mineralogical materials collected from underground mines; and (ii) accelerated full-scale cable-bolt tests using an acidified solution. In the long-term tests, a novel three-point bending coupon was designed. The effects of … Show more

“…affecting the thermal comfort of the body. e PMV values at different heights of the roadway are determined using MATLAB software and the numerical simulation results of the temperature field and the wind speed field [47][48][49][50][51][52]. As shown in Figure 12, the PMV values are in the range of −0.6∼0.6, conforming to the standard value of human thermal comfort.…”

“…Few studies on stakeholders' expectations of OS have been identified by various authors. It is recommended to use the stakeholder theory to achieve performance in organizational sustainability [33][34][35][36]. Stakeholder theory was first introduced in 1984 by Edward Freeman and addresses the interaction between specific groups of individuals and their interests based on the organization.…”

“…e main production process is 24 hours of continuous production, three shifts per day and 8 hours per shift. At present, the working system of 5 days per week has been widely implemented, and the attendance rate of mine producers is 95% [45,46]. Although the enterprise has strengthened its safety supervision, there are still some security risks, as shown in Figure 6.…”
