Level-crossing sampling using microprocessor based system

Abstract: The development of an asynchronous data processing system is usually based on dedicated asynchronous elements. Advanced general-purpose microprocessors have a set of features facilitating designing of an asynchronous unit. The paper presents an architecture of the system implemented on Texas Instruments MSP430 micro-controllers using a principle of the level-crossing sampling.
