“…Upon their release from incarceration, these individuals grapple with a multifaceted process, encompassing the re‐establishment of family bonds, psychological problems stemming from the violence endured during imprisonment, the pursuit of employment and housing opportunities, and frequent reintegration into communities where they previously lived.
