“…The color purity of as-synthesized Ba 2 Lu 4.48 Eu 0.5 La 0.02 B 5 O 17 phosphors is an essential factor for WLEDs application. Therefore the color purity can be calculated through the following expression: 63 here, ( x , y ) stands for the CIE coordinates of Ba 2 Lu 4.48 Eu 0.5 La 0.02 B 5 O 17 phosphors, ( x i , y i ) denotes the color coordinates of white illumination and ( x d , y d ) represents the coordinates of dominant wavelength, respectively. In the present work, the coordinates were evaluated to be ( x = 0.643, y = 0.356), ( x i = 0.310, y i = 0.316) and ( x d = 0.651, y d = 0.353).…”

“…The, R c was determined to be 6.52 Å suggesting multipole‐multipole interaction leading to concentration quenching in the present case . The color perception as stated by the chromaticity coordinates was lying in the red region (Figure B and Table ) . The color purity of Eu 3+ ( x = 0.10) member was determined by applying the following equation and found out to be 67%Color Purity=x-xnormali2+y-ynormali2xnormald-xnormali2+ynormald-ynormali2×100%where ( x , y ) ‐coordinates of a sample point, ( x i , y i ) ‐coordinates of the illuminants (0.3130, 0.3300), and ( x d , y d ) ‐coordinates of the dominant wavelength of 612 nm (0.6080, 0.3888) of the sample.…”

“…A variation in the cell volume may have caused the observed 2θ shift. Typically, an increase in the Al 3+ concentration decreases the cell volume because a smaller Al 3+ (0.051 nm) displaces the larger Cr 3+ (0.061 nm) ions (Liu et al, 2015;Wu et al, 2018). Supplementary Tables S1, S2 show that there is no obvious change in cell volume with the increase in Mg concentration in CoCr 2 O 4 , which is mainly due to the similar ionic radii of Mg 2+ and Co 2+ .…”
