“…The refined XRD data of the powders (Cu 3 SnS 4 ) 1−x (Ga 2 Te 3 ) x (x = 0, 0.05, 0.085, 0.1, 0.105, 0.11, 0.125 and 0.15) are presented in Figure S1 and Tables S1 and S2, and their XRD patterns are summarized in Figure 1, where the matrix phase of CTS completely matches with the tetragonal structure (PDF: 33-0501). The diffraction patterns are the same as those observed in Sb/Se-9 and other element-alloyed CTS, 40,41 except for the minor impurities Ga 2 S 3 at x = 0.05 and Te (PDF: 36-1452) at x = 0.085−0.15 that precipitated, suggesting that the element Ga has been completely dissolved in the CTS lattice at x > 0.05. With the x value increasing from 0.085 to 0.125, the weight percent (wt %) of the impurity of Te increases nearly linearly, ranging from 2.59 to 4.81%, as shown in Figure S2.…”
