Measurement of Air Springs Volume Using Indirect Method in the Design of Selected Pneumatic Devices

Abstract: At our department, we deal with continuous tuning of torsional oscillating mechanical systems (TOMS) during their operation in terms of torsional oscillation size. Therefore, a new mobile mechanical system was built for purposes of research and presentation of the TOMS continuous tuning using extremal control method, which main advantage is that we do not need to know a mathematical model of the mechanical system. The new mobile device is equipped with a special compressed air distribution system, which import… Show more

“…In the case, when the bellows of the air springs of each coupling are interconnected, the mismatch of the motor rotors will be compensated by stretching the air spring bellows in the coupling of the first motor transmission line and compressing the air spring bellows in the coupling of the other motor transmission line, the pressure within the air springs being the same [6].…”

“…With a relatively high error Δ = 20mm, the non-uniform load distribution will be about 3% (Figure 7). An absolutely uniform load distribution can be achieved by using an automatic system that enables control of the pressure within the bellows of the air springs [6]. Fig.…”

“…Fuel equipment elements that improve operating procedures play a special role in the engine design perfection. In this case, the piston motion law is push-type and depends only on the connecting rod and crank mechanism (CRCM) constant parameters [14][15][16]. This circumstance does not allow the use of compression ratio regulation being a powerful reserve to optimise engine operating parameters in its running regimes range [17][18][19].…”
