“…The premise of preparing body temperature response SMPs is to adjust T m to 37 °C. [4] It is known from the above discussion that T m of EUG decreases with the increase of epoxy content. Therefore, a series of ESHs was prepared by changing the amount of H 2 O 2 (controlling the epoxy content), and their crystallization behavior was characterized by DSC.…”

“…[19][20][21] Temperature is the most important stimuli way for SMPs, because it is easy to design and execute. [4] Typically, the transition temperature (T trans ) at which the material returns to its permanent shape is usually consistent with the glass transition temperature or melting temperature. [22] Temporary shape fixation is achieved by glass transformation or crystallization when cooling the sample below T trans , and permanent shape is recovered driven by entropy elasticity when reheating the sample back to T trans .…”

“…As reported in previous work, the shape memory behaviors based on the shape fixity ratio (R f ) and shape recovery ratio (R rec ) can be tested by DMA under the controlled force mode. 52,53 In this work, the effect of MW, permanent HMDI, and dynamic UPy crosslinking on the shape memory behaviors of LCNs was demonstrated based on DMA characterization. As shown in Figure 6a, LCN films were stretched to a certain strain to form a temporary shape under an applied load after they were first heated to 60 °C and kept for 3 min.…”

“…The shape-memory polymers (SMPs) have the advantages of low density, excellent shape-recovery capacity, electrical insulation, easy processability, and low cost. [1][2][3][4][5] Thus, SMPs are widely used in electronics, aircraft, and aerospace fields, such as in actuators and self-deployable space structures. [6][7][8][9][10] An SMP shifts between rigid and elastic states through thermal stimuli at the critical temperature (T c ).…”
